This lovely executive cottage has many of the added features that are sought after in a cottage vacation setting. The waterfront area has been professionally landscaped with beautiful Muskoka rocks featuring built-in stairs, flat grass areas, fabulous lakeside fire pit area, HOT TUB, and terraced gardens leading you down to the lake. There are steps into the shallow water for easy entrance, or you can jump in from the spacious dock where there is plenty of room for everyone.
Inside, you'll find the cottage very well appointed from the granite counter tops in the kitchen, to the comfortable living room with stone fireplace and plasma TV, to the wonderful sitting and dining area with a view of the lake, to the plasma TV with surround sound built-in home theatre in the lower level family room. After a day of activities, you can relax on the deck with a wonderful view out over the lake, or wind down and let the day melt away with a soak in the brand new Hydropool HOT TUB. Two of the bedrooms are on the main level, while the other two bedrooms are on the lower level.
Any day of the week is great to take a short drive into the quaint village of Baysville where the local shops offer plenty of variety for browsing and buying. Ms. Nell’s Antiques and coffee shop has great baked goods, sandwiches and beverages and they also run the ice cream shop. Humble Pie has great pizzas and The Fork in the Road has many choices as well for a quick snack.The Farmers Market is a must, every Friday from 2pm-6pm and Lake of Bays Brewery is another great spot to pop in to and enjoy their patio.
The historic town of Huntsville is conveniently close for quick errands or spend the day checking out its quaint Main Street with shops of every kind and a wide selection of cafés and restaurants. For longer day trips head into Arrowhead Park or Algonquin Park.
In the winter, this cottage is right on the snowmobile trail and skiing is nearby. Close to Arrowhead and the cranberry marsh! Come and enjoy the good life in cottage country.
