Summary: We stayed here for 2 nights while exploring Halifax. It was October so too cold to make use of the lake but the setting was lovely and peaceful. We were close enough to the highway to make an early morning trip back to the airport quick and easy.The basement walk-out is very spacious but it's also quite dated and the listing did not accurately represent the layout. Luckily it wasn't an issue for us but the fact that the kitchen can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms was odd and not ideal. The one bathroom is also quite dated and there was a definite damp mustiness throughoutThe hosts were very responsive and accommodating, happily allowing us to arrive earlier than the regular check-in.
