Inside, the cottage comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests with 1 king, 2 queen, 2 full-size beds, a cozy Murphy bed in the living room, and a futon in the lakeside room, perfect for relaxing or as a bedroom (this was my room until I was 40). With 2.5 bathrooms and an infinity water heater, everyone can refresh and recharge with ease.
But let’s be honest—the magic is outside. Spend your days relaxing on our giant new deck, the dock, wading in the water, or rowing out in the complimentary boat. When you're ready to explore, you’re just minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, historic Fishtown, the vibrant shops and eateries of Traverse City, and some of Michigan’s best vineyards and farm stands.
Traveling with kids? You're in for something special. This lakefront neighborhood was once a family resort, and while most of the cottages are now private homes, a few—including this one—still welcome guests. That means you get the charm of a resort community with the quiet and space of a private retreat. Your little ones will love the playground, volleyball net, basketball hoop, giant sandbox, and wide dock with benches (great for fishing). There’s even a fish-cleaning station for your daily catch!
