IMPORTANT WINTER NOTES
SUV with good tires REQUIRED ; driveway is a quarter mile with an incline. Neighbor plows regularly, but snow may accumulate. Shovels, ice melt, and supplies provided. We are in snow country and it is common for a few inches to accumulate in front of our garage doors.
Small starter bundle of firewood provided indoors near the fireplace; additional wood available on-site at the wood pile. Guests may help themselves should they need more wood.
Please keep garage doors closed as much as possible to help retain heat; it is below the main floor of the home and serves as a way to keep things warm upstairs. This is an older house, and the home can be drafty in sub-zero temperatures (lots of large windows in the house). Bring warm clothing.
One garage door is broken as of winter 2026; We are working to get this fixed but due to heavy snow accumulation and sub zero temps, have had delays with repairmen. Please access garage through the locked side door to open and shut the other garage door. The MyQ keypad is not for guest use.
