La Casa, the beautiful main house, has two very large master bedrooms with great views of the water, and another bedroom behind the workout room. You or your guests can stay in one of two adjacent private villas, each villa having two bedrooms and great views of the water. Palacio de Cristal has a huge pool with a swim-up bar, and enough space for everyone to enjoy it. There is also a large and comfortable jacuzzi, and a wading pool for children. Near the pool is an open, shaded palapa where you and your guests can enjoy food, beverages, and fellowship. La Palapa is the main gathering spot and a good place to view the goings-on in the pool area. Our House Manager, Antonio, is ultimately responsible for every aspect of your stay at Palacio de Cristal. He will help coordinate transportation to and from the airport, food and beverage purchases, and any activities you care to experience while in Manzanillo. Antonio also supervises the staff – he is your Go-To Guy. Antonio can also arrange restaurant reservations, tee times, and transportation to sites and activities in the surrounding area. Our Chef is experienced and has many specialty dishes for you to choose from. Although you don’t have to eat all of your meals at Palacio de Cristal, you might want to! You will receive an extensive list of dishes when you arrive, so that you can start selecting menus for your group meals. Typical local dishes include Colima Ceviche -named after the state. This dish is light and delicious as it’s prepared with fresh, chopped sailfish or grouper, lemon juice, orange juice, tomatoes, onions, carrots and chili peppers. Other local seafood dishes are: spicy shrimp, garlic-fried lobster, grilled crayfish, and a variety of seafood soups and stews. Of course, if you would like a burger, steak, or macaroni and cheese, no problem! Please let Antonio, know of any dietary restrictions we need to be aware of. You will be responsible for food and beverage costs, but they will do your shopping and cooking for you. Our Staff will provide cleaning and laundry services during your stay. Many of our guests “pack light” because staff will take care of your laundry three times during your stay (every two days). The property also has extensive gardens, and a filtered water system.
