Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous historic home. We were lucky to enjoy TWO town events that took place right beside the property: a Sunday market and a Friday evening concert. The latter wasn’t even audible once we turned in for the night because the walls are so thick! There were definitely some oddities in the house due to its age, but that’s to be expected. The kitchen was well appointed and we had all we needed for cooking and food prep. Overall, you couldn’t beat the location for its access to local breweries, a grocery store nearby and easy drives to nice hiking nearby. We also enjoyed day trips to Quebec City and Trois Rivières while there. We also got to just enjoy relaxing in the hammock and in the various sitting rooms with comfy couches. An ideal spot to explore all that la belle province has to offer.
