Overlook Nook will be your new favorite place! This charming single-level 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home, nestled in quaint Kachina Village, sits on an over-sized lot backing green space. Spacious living, dining, and kitchen area overlooks an open deck with stunning mountain and sunset views. Vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and large windows bring in natural sunlight. Beautiful up to date furnishings make this home so comfortable.
The Overlook Nook is nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac in sweet Kachina Village. Located just 7 minutes outside of Flagstaff, its the perfect place to stay! The home was recently renovated in 2018 including a new furnace, nest thermostat, remodeled baths and kitchen, new windows, new decks front and back and much more. The bedrooms are located along the hallway as you enter the home. Each offers a wireless charging station for your devices. All bedding and mattresses are brand new for the best nights sleep you can have!
The master bedroom is a well appointed spacious room holding a new luxury California king bed. With a Smart TV you are able to relax and enjoy a movie in bed! You will also have an ensuite bathroom offering a shower, and filled with amenities, as well as a washer and dryer in the master bath as well!
Along the hallway you will find the 2nd and 3rd bedroom, one holding a queen bed and the other offering a twin bed with an optional trundle bed as well. The sofa in the living room opens up as well for optional sleeping space if needed. The property sleeps upto 8 people comfortably. All linens are provided.
The main bathroom is along the hall as well and offers a tub/shower combo as well as many amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, cotton balls body lotion and more. Fresh clean towels are provided under the bathroom sinks.
At the end of the hallway the home opens up into a large open room with vaulted ceilings, large windows and an eclectic modern decor! This is the heart of the home! The living room offers new leather furniture, modern decor and many special touches such as live plants! Alexa is there to assist you with your entertainment needs as well! The TV is a smart TV, along with a blu-ray player and a record player too! There is a small desk for you your use if you absolutely need to work during your stay. The dining room seats 6 comfortably and offers amazing views of the canyon, mountain and towering pine trees! The deck is where you will spend most of your time! Lounging taking in the view, or grilling and eating dinner at the table and chairs! You wont be able to get enough of that view!
The kitchen is fully stocked and supplied for your stay. Enjoy the coffee bar holding a drip coffee maker, tea pot, french press and more. Coffee tea and supplies are provided!
You are free to enjoy all unlocked areas of the home. Be respectful of property lines with the neighbors when you are outdoors.
We ask that you dont use the extra linens in the queen room closet. As well as the plastic totes on top of the washer.
People love to walk the quaint streets of Kachina Village. You will need a car to access Flagstaff and other area sights and attractions.
The home is not Air Conditioned however, in the 90 degree heat, the home stayed very cool! There are screens on the front door as well as the back slider which offers an amazing cross breeze. Each room has a ceiling fan as well to keep the air circulating. We also have a portable room air conditioner in the dining room. There are no refunds if its too warm for your comfort. Unfortunately, weather is one of the things that is not in my control.
We are dog friendly home, please do not bring any animals into the home without prior consent. Dogs only under 30 lbs. We ask for a $60 non refundable pet fee and have a limit of 2 dogs in the home. You must walk you dog in this home as there isnt any yard area for your use. You must clean up after your dog. Do not allow your dog to go potty on either deck. Dog must be kenneled when you are away from the home and no barkers please. We ask you to follow the "4-on-the-floor" policy and keep dogs off the beds and furniture at all times. Damage caused will be addressed on a case by case basis and you will be held responsible for any damages caused by your dog.
