Summary: We had a great week staying at this property with three generations of our family. We took the boats out, fished and swam every day that the weather allowed. We caught over 100 fish for the week with most of them coming right off the dock or the shore - Largemouth Bass, Pike, Perch, Rock Bass and Sunfish. The kayaks, canoe and stand-up paddleboard were all great and the kids also loved jumping off the end of the dock and the floating mat. Also nice to have a badminton court and a ping-pong table available as well as a lot of games at the house. The house itself has a lot of room to spread out and the three bedrooms upstairs are huge. There is a newly installed outdoor shower that everyone enjoyed. Kitchen is very well equipped and we ate all of the meals on the screened-in porch and the deck overlooking the lake. The lake itself is very quiet and the house sits on a private cove so it’s pretty rare to see any boat traffic - even on the weekend we were there. Johnstown and Gloversville are only about 15 minutes away and have anything you need to buy for groceries and there is also a big Walmart. We also took a day trip to the Saratoga Race Track which was just under an hour away. We would highly recommend this house to any families or groups and hope to return next year. The owner was tremendous with his communication both leading up to our stay as well as answering questions while we were there.
