Situated on Lake Seymour of the Trent Severn Waterway, on the beautiful Nappan Island you can relax and enjoy the total cottage experience. Being just minutes from Hasting's (Fishing Capitol of Canada), Campbellford (Home of the Giant Toonie) and Havelock (Country Music Jamboree), you'll find it convenient whether you're sight seeing, grocery shopping, or just want a coffee from Tim's.
This 450 Square Foot cottage has 1 bedroom with a two double beds and a Dresser and there is a Twin pull-out couch in the TV area. The Kitchen has dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, oven/range. The bathroom has a stand/sit massage shower, toilet and Vanity.
Renters provide bed linens and pillows, wash clothes, bath/beach towels.
The rental is on the second story of the building and is only accessible by stairs and the main level of the unit is for storage and is not rented by other guests.
The cottage is located on a two acre lot where the canoe and kayak are kept for your use any time! The lot itself has over 200 feet of shore line and is equipped with a propane BBQ(bring your own tank)

Summary: My family and I had a great time during the week we stayed. The property is not quite as private as depicted in the pictures, with the owners main house located nearby. But the house is only as close as might be expected if the property was smaller and another cottage was located next door. We only saw the owners 3x in the week we stayed, and then only briefly. When we did see them, they only concerned if we had everything we needed. Very friendly for sure. The property is huge, with at least 100 feet of waterfront. We had our badminton, spike ball, Bocci ball, and a seating area all set up separately in the yard. The owners also own a small island not far from the shore which can be visited using one the 3 watercraft they allow you to use. If I’d known about the island before arriving I might have brought a tent to sleep there one night. It was a lovely area. The cottage itself is small - 500 square feet as advertised, but had all of the amenities to allow my family of 4 to live comfortably, including access to high speed internet from most points on the property. Besides the great property, there was plenty to do on excursions in the surrounding area. My whole family went on a hike around the island, 3 very nice hikes in the Campbellford area, went on a 30 km bike ride including a stop for a picnic in the hamlet of Trent River, and a day trip to Peterborough. I would recommend this cottage to any small group looking for a quiet getaway.
