*There are two low ceiling spots in the unit, part of the kitchen and bath. Not great if you’re very tall.
The space
This is a large, newly renovated, bright and spotless 1 bedroom basement apartment, with windows and windowed doors, private entrance, a queen sized bed, 3 piece bath, high speed internet and a green velvet couch.
The furnace room is in the basement, it provides a hum through the winter months, if you are sensitive to noise this may be something to be aware of.
The space runs on the cool side as the floor tiles are ceramic, therefore there's no need for air conditioning or fans. The winter months may require a space heater at times and slippers on your feet.
Ceilings are average height except for a few lower hanging pipes (see photos), a lower ceiling in the cold room where the fridge is and in part of the bathroom.

*Because we back onto a green space yet are also in a large city, there is wildlife and are possible pests. Although the home is very clean and treated yearly, this is a reality of nature.
