The cottage itself boasts a large yard, where kids can run freely and play their favorite outdoor games. The spacious deck is the ideal spot for hosting memorable barbecues, complete with a sizzling propane BBQ and a dining set that comfortably accommodates six.
And the best part? Direct lake access is just steps away! We provide two kayaks, inviting you to paddle your way through the serene waters,
and taking in the mesmerizing sunset hues that paint the sky.
As evening falls, gather around the cozy firepit, strategically positioned to offer you an enchanting view of the shimmering lake. Toast marshmallows, share stories, and marvel at the star-studded sky above.
NOTE: There are approx 65 steps to the beach on the seawall and then a ladder to the beach/water. 2023 we now have a little beach and you can setup to the southleft. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
NOTE: Parking is limited to 2 vehicles
Linens are available for an extra fee. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color. Several weeks later, the snow starts to fall and guests can enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests or try out the snowshoe trails on the river flats.
You're just five minutes from White Squirrel Golf Club with winter hiking trails and winter golf for those die-hard links lovers. Explore downtown Bayfield, just two minutes away, browsing the unique boutiques and stopping for a hot coffee at one of the quaint cafes. We're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, including Dark Horse Estate Winery with a tasting room as well as an outdoor skating rink. If you prefer hops over vines, Bayfield River Road Brewing has an outdoor tasting room to enjoy the craft brews. With wooded trails, scenic country vistas and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season.
