THE COMPLEX
Casa Gaviotas is located in a gated community of luxury villas that feature private guarded parking and a 24/7 security guard. The lavish infinity pool and open grass terrace in the back are shared but there is always plenty of room.

THE HOTEL ZONE, CANCUN
Encompassing several subdistricts, the lively Zona Hotelera area is home to all-inclusive resorts, international restaurants, and relaxing sandy beaches. Nearby, the main branch of the Underwater Museum of Art, or MUSA, showcases marine life interacting with sculptures. There are Shopping malls, tons of restaurants, and grocery stores all within a 5-minute drive. There are also nightlife bars and huge salsa clubs further down the stop.

Golfing, Mayan Ruins, Shelling and virtually every other water sport known to man are right here. Taxis and buses are available for those day trips you will want to make to the nearby Mayan ruins of Tulum. Chichen Itza, one of the new wonders of the world, Ek Balam, and other attractions like Ziplines, or the underwater grottos are all reachable by bus, taxi, or private transportation. Of course, cars are available for rent at the airport as well. There are also Eco-parks that offer amazing family activities as well. Xcaret, Xela Ha, or Adventures are only a phone call away for tickets and a short trip away.

The Pirate ship cruise takes off nightly and displays a firework show on the ocean directly in front of our terrace. The Pirate Ship departure dock is just ¾ of a mile away. Swimming with dolphins' adventure is located just 5 minutes away. Shopping is all around you. At the Hotel zone the beautiful Plaza Caracol, Plaza Kukulkan, and La Isla shopping mall are just minutes away from the villa and offer all types of brand stores. Also, remember that Cancun is a duty-free zone so if you are looking for sunglasses, colognes or perfumes, this is the place to get a bargain. You can also head downtown and visit Plaza Las Americas (mall). Or for a more local taste, Mercado 28, a local market with a lot of handcrafts is available as well.

Jet skis, Banana Boats, Paragliding, and virtually every other water sport is within 5 minutes walking distance in front of the house. Just walk down the beach to the left and you will find the vendors right there waiting to strap you on and take you for an unforgettable ride. SCUBA and snorkeling are also great attractions and there are tours going out every day within minutes of home.
