Located on warm, inviting and crystal clear Sproat lake, the jewel of Vancouver Island. This beautiful, fully furnished and equipped two bedroom, one bathroom guest house is ready for your vacation of a life time. Easy lake access, a large dock with a sun shade and lounge chairs, canoes and SUPs available for your use and a play fort with a sand box for the kids make this the best place in the world to be in the summer! We also want guests to understand our entire property is nonsmoking. As well, because we share the property, we do limit the number of guest house guests on the property to 4 at any one time.
This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.

Summary: We had an amazing week at the Guest House! The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Air conditioning, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, big kitchen - everything was great and thoughtfully laid out. Janis and Martin are excellent hosts and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Their dock was well equipped as well with comfortable chairs, tables, umbrellas, etc. Swimming off the dock in crystal clear water was a highlight. Use of the canoe to paddle over to Fossli Park and hike there was really nice. Paddle boards were also made available for us to use.We were fortunate to have excellent, warm weather and ate outside on the deck every evening and most mornings. It is a 30 min drive to Stamp Falls fish ladders which is great to visit, and only 15 min. drive to Port Alberni if you have to pick up any groceries at any time. The guest house is set back behind the main house with a small view of the lake, but it is still a lovely place to stay. Thank you so much Janis and Martin!
